Planning our first public show tonight

Earlier today we took Luca to York Minster Library where we looked at a facsimile of a manuscript which is thought to be more than a thousand years old. Tonight we did our first public show via the medium of Television. We were on “BBC look north”.

Today some of our guest artists arrived.   We picked up Francis & Dima from the train station this afternoon and Luca Barcellona from East Midlands Airport.  This evening we set up all the kit in museum gardens and had a little practice while not too many people were watching.

We arrived in York last night and found our new house for the next 14 days.  We spent today setting up the first parts of the project.  The tower for the projector and the structure where the artists will work.

It was pouring with rain so our waterproofing got a good test.

The last job of the day was to fire up the projector and point it at “the target” the multangular tower… The image fitted beautifully and was very bright This evening we tested all the mixing equipment, set up this blog, a flickr group and now it is off to Bed…..
